Kiran Prakashan Pvt. Ltd. – As the name suggests-spreads the rays
of hopes in the eyes of assiduous youths; disseminates updated
knowledge and strengthens their spirit in the pursuit of excellence. In
1964, we saw a dream. The dream was to assuage the pain of ardent
youths. Decision making was not so easy. The uncertainty of end,
complexity of off beat business and dearth of means were the challenges
to be faced. But the dogged determination was a driving force. It is
said tall oaks from little acorns grow. The seed was sown in 1964. The
seed sprouted and sapling got birth. It needed unflinching nurturing and
undeterred dedication. Time went by, now it is a tree with long
branches, and a heartening shed. The dream comes true. It is giving
solace to a number of perspiring passers-by.
Yesterday was not as bright as today. Those were the days when the book
shops were not embellished with competitive books and magazines,
particularly in Hindi medium. An aspiring youth was entrapped in the
labyrinth of uncertainty. Decision making was intriguing. Indeed the
destination was before the eyes, but how to do or what to do was a
complex question. The dream used to be distant for students with rural
background/Hindi medium. The youth was perspiring unflinchingly, but the
path was troublesome, his/her eyes remained tearful. Keeping in view
the growing needs and demands of aspirants particularly those with Hindi
medium, Kiran Prakashan Pvt. Ltd., launched Pratiyogita Kiran in 1993.
It bore the brunt of scorching sun and torrential rain, but it proved
itself to the test of time. It was accorded appreciation and admiration
of the dreaming youths. We identified the evolving needs of budding
youths and the magazine was supplied with accordingly. The youths were
finding the solution. A true appreciation strengthens the inspiration.
Readers encouraged us and
Kiran Prakashan continued its journey with more vigor, more
enthusiasm and certainly with varied competitive books. The year 1995,
saw the launch of Pratiyogita Kiran (English Medium), as none can deny
the growing importance of English. Then came Renu General Knowledge
& World Vision (Hindi & English medium) and after that
Kiran's Competitive Current Events (English Medium) and Kiran's
Sansamyik Ghatna Chakra (Hindi Medium) gets unprecedented success. The
series never ends
here. Kiran Prakashan publishes a number of competitive books for almost
all competitive exams of today.
Kiran Prakashan is perhaps the only Publication that remains in
contact with its readers regularly through letters, calls and face to
face encounters. We patiently hear the viewpoints of readers’
suggestions, criticism and other modifications. Then, we intend to
incorporate their valuable suggestions wherever is possible for
improvement.
